Living with Vision Newsletter
Living with Vision begins with setting a course for your life. It implies that you have a sense of the direction you want to move in and a feeling for what might fulfill you or make you feel happier. This begins with setting an intention, which is a desire that may come from within you or is prompted by outer factors and circumstances that resonate with you. Though you may not necessarily know all the details of what you want yet, you begin to get a sense of what is right or not right for you, which leads to knowing whether you are in the right place at the right time and if not, how to go about changing that.
Intentional Living means you become more conscious of the intentions that you set, and can see how your desires and intentions start to move you in a certain way, as you navigate along a path which you have set for yourself. At any time, you can make alterations and shifts in your basic plan but by focusing and keeping your attention on what you want, then you will most certainly arrive where you want to go, it is just a question of time until you arrive.
Intentional Living invites you to create a more expansive vision for your life, and to recognize that the only limitations that prevent you from succeeding or making the necessary changes that need to be made, are those within you, which are created by your mind and your belief systems.
With Intentional Living, you create a plan that is flexible; it's like a road map showing you how to get from A to Z. It's a framework for you to work with in order to create and recreate on a daily basis. This framework can assist you in every area of your life and keep you moving in the right direction. Its much more than just about making plans, it also requires a certain degree of consciousness and inner commitment to yourself and your life and the way you want it to unfold. This can then open you to a far greater vision of what is possible, of who you can become and what you can achieve.
When you decide to begin the process of Intentional Living, what is required is to acknowledge where you are right now in your life, where you want to go, what inner and outer changes you need to make and to declare your intentions on a daily basis and as often as you can. Keep your intentions in your mind and write them down. Writing grounds your vision, it helps you get clear on what you want, and to become more focused.
Whenever you have to make a decision about something, about anything, see if whether your chosen outcome is in alignment with your overall intentions, it might be a steeping stone to where you want to go, or it could be taking you away from where you really want to go. Be aware of interferences, and keep clear of people who don't support your vision or people who take your energy. Check in with yourself regularly to see if you are still on course with your intention or have deviated somehow, in which case you need to put yourself back on course.
When you live your life from a place of Intentional Living you will feel much more in the flow, as one thing just leads to another. You will discover that synchronicities begin to occur more often that are in alignment with what you desire. Keep your attention on what you want, not on what you don't want, put your energy on what is important to you and make sure you are clear in your mind.
Intentional Living will take you there where you want to go. What you intend, will occur, it will become your reality. So hold your focus patiently and persistently whilst the intended plan begins to unfold step by step. At each new step, see how it fits into the greater vision that you hold and whether you need to make any adjustments.
People that don't have a clear, pointed vision tend to just drift through life, and move from one thing to another. It's like wanting to go to a town in a country that you have not visited before, but without having a map. You may arrive there eventually but it will take much longer and the journey will be more difficult. Whereas when you have a map, it makes the journey much easier and more comfortable and you can stop whenever you want and enjoy the path along the way.
Intentional Living is the map that you create for your life, and you can have fun with it as you design and redesign it. Nothing is set in stone; you are the artist, the builder, the creator, and the designer of your life, so live your life with intention and decide what you want to create.
